As a published photojournalist, my goal is to create photographs that tell a story in a candid, personal manner. I work unobtrusively to produce images that are beautiful and memorable, yet still spontaneous and relaxed.

I have been a regular stringer for The New York Times and an exhibiting photographer at a gallery in SoHo (New York). Additionally, my documentary photographs have appeared in numerous national publications.

A pre-wedding portrait, included in my fee, affords us an ideal opportunity to get to know one another prior to your ceremony, and to discuss specific details of the wedding day. With a rapport established and your goals stated in advance, you are free to enjoy every aspect of your wedding day without unnecessary interruptions. I'm frequently told that I have the ability to put people at ease, even those who generally shy away from photographers. What results are more relaxed photographs that capture the chemistry of the moment.

Depending on your preference, I can work in black and white or color. An assistant provides double lighting, which enhances the appearance of your photos. From beginning to end, you will have the benefit of my personal attention - including during the creation of your handcrafted album.

I find photographing weddings and other special occasions very rewarding - it's also a major responsibility, one I take very seriously. My goal is to create a lasting record of your special day. Together, we will create a treasured heirloom for you and your family to enjoy for years to come.
